Trust me, it's irritating even if you have kids yourself. Far too many people seem to think that making a child is an accomplishment in of itself or that raising one is some great personal sacrifice that elevates them above those without one. Making a baby may be fun but it's certainly not hard for most and raising them is a choice they've made. That's before you even consider how many of those holding an inflated view of themselves for being parents actually suck at it.
That being said, I've never been one for workplace chatter about people's weekends. "The kids drive me crazy all weekend", "We went to <insert town name> and did loads of shopping at that place", "Went out and you wouldn't believe how utterly smash drunk I got" etc.... so in short, everyone's weekends are sodding boring
