In a coalition you're never going to be able to fulfil a manifesto because it's not a Government of a single party - coalitions means compromising (and compromising in politics is something we should see more of, not less).Last edited by MartyG; 20-02-2019, 15:41.

Trump fails to get anywhere with North Korea as reality begins to sink in
In dramatic testimony, Cohen claims Trump committed crimes to cover up affair and had prior knowledge of Wikileaks release
Cohen gives his testimony too that is damning of Trump and includes a comment that he believes if Trump loses in 2020 he will never peacefully hand over power. He also presented physical evidence that could lead to post-presidency charges being tabled against Trump for illegal conduct during his election campaign.
I did manage to watch the live feed of proceedings and given his track record it's hard to trust Cohen that much but man, that small segment was fascinating. Watching one Republican senior get absolutely shown up by a Democrat representative about racism by him accidentally showing himself to make racist statements and come close to crying about it through sheer embarrassment was gold. The Republican argument against Cohen's testimony were damned weak, they seem to have nothing in their arsenal to defend Trump with whilst the closing statement from the Chairman started off really laboured but when he got going it was utterly glorious, he was so blatantly done with the US Trump era political mindset.

His testimony makes no difference to his jail term.
