Votes on 12th, 13th and 14th of March, giving two weeks after that.

They could hold these votes right now, one after the other, there's absolutely zero reason to wait until 2 weeks before Article 50 expires.

Labour has said that May can't be trusted to hold her votes having missed three of the last four dates she stuck in the sand making it easy to guess how they'll vote. The ERG have also said they won't vote for her deal just to avoid a short A50 extension essentially confirming she's probably not made much difference to tomorrow's voting. May meanwhile avoids confirming that she won't whip MP's to block an extension to A50 if next months voting happens.

The government's No Deal Impact document is damning: https://assets.publishing.service.go...March_2019.pdf

The thing is, this is the redacted and summarised version, not the actual report with all the gory details.

          So basically

Brexit in any form = bad.
Brexit no deal = effing disastrous.

          Got it.

I don't understand this. It says we don't have enough of the right pallets to continue exporting to the EU after no deal brexit. Why aren't the ones we have already suitable for exporting to the EU since we were already you know.... exporting to the EU....

Ready for Brexit team's extensive experience in export/import helps you manage post-Brexit issues like Rules of Origin (RoO) and Incoterms

It reads like pallets from countries outside the EU are subject to different requirements to those from within the EU.

Because we'll be a third country, not a member state of the EU - it requires a specific type of pallet.

Ok, that makes sense now I read it again, but it's insane yeah?

It does seem a bit weird. I can’t claim to understand pallet needs.

Like everything, if you are in the EU there are less restrictions on stuff. Once we leave our pallets have to comply with different regulations.

Don’t worry we can always use widden pallets instead.

Standard euro pallet is 1.2mx1m. It’s designed to fit in standard lorry trailers & shipping containers without fail.

Then there’s a few odd bigger sizes that you generally get sometimes from stuff that’s come from outside the standardised eu, which are a fooking nightmare as they never fit anywhere properly.

It’s actually quite a big deal for litterally everything that’s shipped, take away the eu standard and it would become a nightmare.

However there’s loads of companies that make them in the uk so it’s not like that would change in anyway.

So you're saying we should invest in companies that make pallets?

But the info seems to suggest that pallets from within the EU and pallets from outside it aren’t the same. Or at least that pallets from within the EU haven’t been subject to these standards. Is that right?
