EU confirms that no backstop solution has been found

Corbyn keeps sounding like May as he says he's convinced he could get a majority around a soft Norway+ deal despite A - Not having one, B - One of May's struggles being that her deal is already seen as too soft and C - Harder Brexiters won't let go of their trade hopes whilst softer Brexiters wouldn't let go of the ever closer dangling Remain chances

Some good news! UK Carbon Emissions have reached their lowest point since all the way back to 1888
But back on the Brexit vote, Leadsom has confirmed that the second vote will still happen next Tuesday (it's embarrassing for MP's who vote differently this time to last when May returns with the identical deal).
Geoffrey Cox says the EU is lying when it says the UK hasn't put forward a clear plan for dealing with the backstop. Presumably he missed the inference that that means we simply put forward a crap one then.

How come MP's gets a second vote on something that a few weeks back they voted against. Yet a vote on something a few years back is an unbreakable will of the people scenario? if the votes passes this time which vote do we respect the old one or the new one, maybe it can be a best of three scenario to make it fair.Last edited by Lebowski; 07-03-2019, 11:37.

drowning man grasps at straws: https://www.theguardian.com/politics...ock-complaints
I'm sure people must have been rolling eyes over that one.
The desperation of the rhetoric to push the blame onto the EU continues to ramp up at a pace.Last edited by MartyG; 08-03-2019, 05:16.

You know negotiations are going well when you have to 'plead' with the other party involved
Also, because May's special move in any circumstance is to fold on delivering what she promises MP's, speculation is mounting that if she loses next weeks second vote she will withhold the promised votes on No Deal and extending Article 50. Instead she would opt to breach all party members trust and apply for an extension to the EU for either a 5 week A50 extension or a 21 month extension then put No Deal and the extension to a vote alongside a third attempt at her own deal.
