Okay, at this point it must be really clear to all involved that the UK government has no idea how to implement the result of the 2016 referendum. So given it was so close and we know there will have been a level of shift in opinion, here's my suggestion: get all the Leave MPs into a room and all the Remain MPs into a different room. Whoever manages to come up with a workable plan to implement what they want gets their way.

Reading the updates I don't think anything infuriates me as much as the constant GE begging going on by MP's. If the Tory's win it again it just means more 'I have a mandate for XXXX Brexit' like May has done for her deal.

No it does not.

They have no idea whether those voting for the party in a GE agree with their position on Brexit because GE's are not single issue votes. It's perfectly possible for a majority of Tory voters to support the party in a GE but disagree with their plans for Brexit. If you treat a GE as a single issue vote then that's literally a public vote on that matter and the argument against a Second Referendum goes out the window.

Any MP's wanting to avoid No Deal or at least a year of more Brexit debacle have no choice now - back a second referendum

It’s not a surprise that Corbyn’s calling for a GE as it would cement Brexit, no 2nd referendum, and another term of Tory government to take the flak for the social and economic catastrophe. Corbyn’s endgame is enabling Brexit above everything else.

Just more and more calls for a General Election that May will consider if all other options fail. I honestly don't know how anyone could claim a GE will 'break the impass'. May is planning a fourth attempt at her deal but Bercow will near certainly block it definitively.

Hell, what mandate on Brexit are the Tories even going to pursue if they themselves have helped kill their own deal and No Deal?

Part of me wonders if she's trolling. She must know that while they shout and stamp their feet, no-one in her party wants her to leave until the immediate damage is over. If she leaves before then, someone has to stick their neck onto the block, or a GE is unavoidable, and it would probably result in a hung parliament.
