Prime minister holds press conference after resignations and tough questions from MPs in the Commons
Gove is said to have been offered the role of Brexit Secretary but has yet to sign up for it. Thing with Gove is, he's so blatantly untrustworthy and self-motivated that he's played the situation for power for two years and now finds he's backed himself into a career corner where he's at very high risk of going down with May's ship. He can either hold the wheel for her whilst she bails water out with a bucket or he can jump overside with the others and hope they don't shoot him in the water.

Thing is, let's say 52% of people want to leave the EU for reasons best known to themselves. Whatever deal we get, not all of those people will be happy and none of the 48% who voted to stay will be so you're literally doing something to KNOWINGLY satisfy a minority of people and piss off the majority. How is that anything other than utter insanity?

I'm still trying to work out what May means by 'no brexit' when she insists if the deal is killed we'll still leave on 29 March (aka No Deal)
The only thing I can think of is that she's keeping the option of cancelling it without a vote on the table but won't say that as she knows there's les than 0% chance of anything getting supported if they publicly admit that cancelling Brexit outright isn't off the cards. That way she also gets to stand by not offering a second referendum and avoids No Deal and passes it off as 'I tried my very best, others ruined it not me and in the national interest I'm cancelling Brexit and pulling a Cameron'

Slight amendment, given Raab's resignation
G: Would you like a lovely cup of tea?
P: Yes please!
G: It appears we can't make it with water, but can do cup of piss instead. Would you like to change your mind?
P: No, I've made my decision. Get on with it.
G: Hmm, I'm quitting, in case I get the blame...

New @skydata poll (data set is in the last item in that link):
Of the three Brexit outcomes Theresa May says are available, would you prefer a) her deal, b) no deal or c) no Brexit?
No Brexit 54%
No deal 32%
Her deal 14%
