The first deep dive to the wreck of the Titanic in 15 years has revealed that the remains are eroding at such a rapid pace now that the wreck will be gone completely by 2030.
It's sad that the current generations looking at this stuff now will be the very last to explore the remains before they're gone for the rest of time but it's at least fortunate that its rest at the bottom of the ocean will have lasted nearly 120 years and long enough for man to have been able to find it and document it.
Whilst the Belfast shipyard that built the ship is looking likely to go under
