Thanks to a massively delayed bus, I just finished reading Fahrenheit 451 this morning. Took me a while to get into it but when I did I enjoyed it a lot. Surprisingly positive ending, though! Thanks Secret Santa!

Two books on the go at the moment. True Blue by David Baldacci & Breathless by Dean Koontz. Haven't read a Koontz book for years & years, so I'm interested to see what this one's like.

The Five Warriors by Matthew Reilly.

It's The Davinci Code crossed with Indiana Jones and The Unit.

The MacGuffin is getting a little silly now, but the action keeps me interested.
The links are even more tenuous than The DaVinci Code and that's saying something.

It's the final part of a trilogy, which I've enjoyed, but I'm trying not to let the ridiculousness of it all put me off.

I think I'll read the book my wife's reading next - it's the new Jasper Fford.

At 1000+ pages, it's a pretty hefty tome!
          Best. Comic. Ever!

Absolutely brilliant, I blitzed through it all in no time last year. Now on rations - a new graphic novel every 8 months or so.

I am currently knee deep into Kirkman's other invention - Invincible. On the 3rd 'Ultimate Collection' which I am enjoying immensly. He really is a great comics writer.

Finished Breathless by Dean Koontz last night & it was a very entertaining read indeed. And I'm just about to start Left Hand of God by Paul Hoffman.

I'm reading Crawling at Night by Nani Power. It's all

              sex and rape.

              But good.

So, Fuse, if you were in the refugee camp,

                which book would you be

                ?!

Finished Crawling at Night and also It Was You by Adam Baron. Pretty generic detective thriller based stuff, with some humour despite its theme - absolutely do not read if expecting.

Vesna Goldsworthy's Chernoble Strawberries is next on the list. Fairly obvious what's going on there, I'll say.

Can any of you chaps recommend the CoDominium series of books? Heard e and stepto talking about one of them on the Nelson podcast

Started reading The Book of Dave, by Will Self.
Hard going and dull and the main guy is just not someone I'm interested in spending any time with. Ditched after 1/3rd of the way through and have moved on to:

The Terror by Dan Simmons. Looks good so far. Although it's massive and it might just be too big for me.

You've said that before, fnarr fnarr!

The Terror sounds like a steampunk The Thing. If you ever conquer its girth, let us know if it's any good!

944 pages!? Flipping heck. I'd never get through that. I've only just worked my way up to 600 page novels.

Ant and Dec's Biography - then I'm going to read Mr King's 'The Stand'

Had an urge to read some Sci-Fi (as always) and I had been chatting with a colleague about the Warhammer 40k stories the day before so I picked up the first book in the Horus Heresy series - Horus Rising.

Got about 1/4 left to go and im really enjoying it, it took awhile to get used to the type of names they use in that universe
