Not sure where you get that from - YouTube doesn't censor content creators in this way - if you want to spout endless swear words, YouTube won't stop you. You won't get ad content revenue, but that isn't due to YT, that's down to companies not wanting to associate their products with certain content.

What creators don't have is an entitlement to ad reveue - and they're not hiding this fact, they have a guide on it.

Yeah, I think we’re not fully understanding what censorship means. I also think it telling when we get outrage over ‘freedom’ from some corners when someone is booted from Twitter but not when kids get put in cages. Or the hundreds of other issues that many people with a sense of perspective were more outraged over for the last few years. Some of these things are more dangerous than others. Hateful people who can’t exert the tiniest hint of self control getting deplatformed ultimately isn’t all that much of a threat to us.

As far as Trump is concerned the main difference is the effect. He's enjoyed years of spouting nonsense without being deplatformed but there's a difference between having the freedom to say what you want and then escalating it to encourage or organise the assault, persecution and even deaths of others and that's why Trump has been snapped offline. There are other reasons of course but still the joy of seeing him deplatformed doesn't take away the blatant abuse he conducted with that very platform he held. It's like the murder comparison, someone might spend all their life wanting to kill another person but nothings going to happen unless an attempt is made. Trump was free to want whatever he wanted to happen to stay in power up until the point he acted on it and called on his base to attempt an insurrection.
