The 75 year old man pushed to the ground is Martin Gugino and is a member of two nonprofits organisations, PUSH Buffalo, which focuses on affordable housing, and Western New York Peace Center, a human rights organization, and part of the Catholic Worker Movement.

Joking aside the guy is absolutely ****ing nuts. I mean he was before he went in to the white house, but being president has sent his mind to Elysium. At times he must scare his advisors.

Bad as things are with the protests and the issues with the police over there atm it's frustrating to see stories like one on the Guardian this morning about Trump 2016 voters who now regret their decision to vote for him because of things like him teargassing US citizens to take a photo and being upset that people won't sympathise for how much they regret that choice now. It's like - f*** off.

Because corruption, lies, imprisoning children and immigrants in cages, advocating for racial violence, pushing for riots against local government figures, bragging about sexually assaulting women, accusations of rape, being impeached, using the deaths of US service men for self promotion purposes, bombing civilian families, abusing his office for his personal financial gain, making illegal hush money payments, withholding aid money to try to cheat in elections, witness intimidation and more - none of these tipped your god damned judgment.

Yeah, admittedly it's kinda their equivalent of a Brexit voter complaining about the US chlorinated chicken point of view.

US’s top infectious disease expert calls virus his ‘worst nightmare’ as 7 million people have been infected and 400,000 have died

Dr Fauci has said that Coronavirus has been one of the most devastating diseases in terms of its ability to spread globally in such a small window of time and warned that it's far from over saying 'we're still at the beginning of it'.

Heard today that HBO are removing Gone with the Wind from their streaming services.

Sounds like we need to buy up all the classics because this is going to be the start of a whole landslide of stuff we won't be able to get soon.

I'm fully expecting Roots to be next & then you have to look at stuff like Colour Purple, Driving Miss Daisy, Glory etc.

Going a little too far now if you ask me

Apparently we can't be expected to have the intelligence to add in some context of our own so it's only right the thought police come to protect us.

I mean I appreciate the subject matter of all those movies but for god sake if you really find it offensive then don't watch them, but please allow the rest of us with some inteligence to enjoy them & form our own opinions

Temporarily. They're going to put it back with a notification at the start.
