The Deputy Leader of Labour increasingly attempts to force Labours hand on a second referendum

Labour says the resumed talks with the Tories are largely a waste of time as May continues to show no interest in changing any facet of her failure of a deal.
May's approval rating amongst Conservative Party Members is now at an all time low, not that it matters.

Lawmakers say the UK needs to commit more to Carbon Capture in order to meet climate targets.
I'm genuinely curious what wider global plans are though, it seems like the countries with the most drive to tackle climate change etc are the ones that are already improving whereas even Googling there seems to be little to push or mention on all the worst offenders countries or those with the most rapid increase in emmisions
China's increase alone seems to more than counterweight anything the entirety of Europe accomplishes. By the time the EU became carbon neutral China alone would have melted the Earth to extinction. Without a complete global push environmentalists and auctioning countries are effectively talking to themselves.

MPs call on party to support European election manifesto that campaigns for second vote on any Brexit deal
Today's the day and it's an incredibly important one not just for Labour but also the entire future direction of Brexit. The Tories and the Brexit Party have played this up as an intention vote during the European Elections as to where the public stands on leaving the EU which any idiot knows is a moronic line of thinking but such is the state of things. If Labour doesn't support a second referendum now it will definitively mean that the option is gone and we will be leaving the EU is near certain negative conditions.
If Labour supports a second referendum it redefines the entire Brexit debate, ends the current cross party talks and galvanises the second vote option by a massive amount. That decision is hours away.
All the latest from Downing Street lobby briefing as Labour’s NEC meets to decide party’s manifesto pledge on second referendum for the European elections
34 out of 70 Labour MEP candidates have now committed to backing a second referendum and Remain

The result of a 2nd referendum would be be remain. Which probably fits in with my ethos. But I fear the concept. We've just had a referendum. Democracy says, hey do that, it's fine. But millions of people just voted to leave and they are going to be mightily annoyed. I predict a riot. La la la.

Corbyn is basically pulling a Cameron. Trying to keep a referendum on the edge of the table so it looks like he's on side but really has no intention of one taking place. Trouble is, if the opportunity is missed and Brexit goes poorly he's finished as he threw away the chance to avoid it. If he agrees a deal with May, well it won't please his party or Labour and will be seen as 1-He was against all other options all along and 2-He's complicit with May in this mess and willing to get in bed with rivals rather than listen to his party.
He thinks he's being clever for his own careers sake but the way things or going he'll never stand in another GE again
