Also i just go back from the factory, caught someone on the cameras cutting the gas bottle cage open to nick the empty gas bottles. Yes they used an angle grinder near gas bottles, then left them all down an alley to pick up later as the cameras have speakers and i shouted out them i’m coming for you d**k head.
I have the idiot’s face now so wont be long until i find him.Last edited by fishbowlhead; 14-08-2022, 19:57.

Or it's just that it's cheaper to get a refill than rent or buy a new cylinder.

I used to be something of a misanthrope. Not to the degree where I wanted to do harm to people, but to the point where I just felt too many people were bad news, and I entertained the idea of moving somewhere remote. But stuff like this drives me crazy.
I always remember, years ago, I used to frequent a shopping mall in a pretty dodgy place. There was a small newsagents' in this shopping mall, where the back door was on the side of the shop unit and that faced a coridoor to one of the mall exits. On this day, two lads went by, who were, and I'm being kind here, what you picture in your head when I use the phrase "walks into traffic instead of pressing the button at the lights chav". And this is the thing - one of them tried the door. This was at maybe 2pm in busy surroundings. It was locked. They walked off.
The point here is that they weren't trying to rob the place. Sure, if they door had opened one of them might've grabbed a Twix and ran off. But it the whole thing wasn't about that. It was about that teenage-level arrogance; doing this because they could, as some kind of weird display of prowess. Like the aformentioned thing where you see these people walk up to a zebra crossing and step out without looking at all, while they "stare down" a driver who has to stop as they walk across the road.
We've all seen these people. They're the sort who would do something ****ty; they'd push until someone pushes back, then, instead of any introspection (a thing I suspect of which they are biologically incapable) they would get their mates and break all the windows of the person who put them in their place, because in their twisted, broken mind, that makes them "right".
I saw a video of one of these people at a police station a few years back. They had a video of him beating up someone in the street. "That's not me," he said. The video was well-lit, practically HD, showing him doing it in the same clothes he was wearing. "That's not me. 'S'not. Not me."
This is the sort of person who breaks a shop window on a night out.Last edited by Asura; 15-08-2022, 09:23.

Someone crashed a stolen delivery truck through the wall of my local Co-op (https://calgary.ctvnews.ca/3-store-e...o-op-1.6033006) and now I have to drive to the next supermarket instead of walk. Thankfully nobody was seriously injured, but they'll be closed for weeks while it gets fixed up.

Normally this might be the bit where I sit and think how lucky I am to be here in relaxed and safe Denmark, then I remember about the shooting by the mentally ill guy in the local shopping mall and don't feel so smug. I went there on Saturday and I'll be honest with you, I was not able to relax. In fact, I might usually sit in the car and wait for my wife and daughter (it was a quick girly trip for a couple of makeup/beauty things) but I went with them, because I thought "what happens if some nutter starts shooting today and I was sitting in the car like a numpty, reading a games forum on my phone?"
