I don’t have a clue what the rules are anymore. And I certainly don’t respect the halfwits developing them.
The Cumm-Spaffer axis has just led to confusion, and a mangled cauldron of too-late and half-baked economy-driven directives, that befuddle and contradict.
Then you’ve got people like Handcock saying things like ‘don’t question or point fingers. We’ve done our best. Just tow the line.’ The Post-Truth era of Trumpian unquestioning obedience has just resulted in apathy amongst the electorate.
So you have a government who refuse to be criticised, telling people to stick to a garbled mess of rules (that they don’t adhere to themselves). What is the result? Most people are too confused and/or don’t care.

Generally the base rules have remained the same though, work from home where possible, keep a distance of 2m from people, if you have symptoms self-isolate.
Given that the infections in the UK are on the rise (as the 7 day average shows), it won't be long before there another national lockdown - at least then the rules will be clearer. Surprisingly, the US 7 day average is actually downwardly trending very slightly at the mo, although 4 lots of Airbus 380-400s are crashing into Mount Covid daily there and that's on the up trend.

Edit - about the virus rules, I don't think they've properly spelled out anything from the start of this crisis. Mixed messages or whatever, and I heard they're appointing a spokesman so they can say they never actually said whatever causes the next sh#tstorm.
One of the current lot really, really looks like Clarence Boddicker.Last edited by monel; 02-08-2020, 02:37.
