Guys, it wasn't aimed at anyone, it was more a pre-emptive request to have a re-read before posting something.

Krikzz the Everdrive guy is currently in the basement with sounds of shooting and something on fire nearby, but still has Internet.

Just a friendly reminder that this is an emotive subject, so please try to be sensitive when you post.
Remember there are people going into war, plus innocent bystanders. Try to empathise a bit.
Also remember that it's not all Russians that want this, with plenty of protests against it, risking imprisonment, so try to be mindful of that.
It pays to read what you post before you hit reply, but especially so about this topic.

        Thanks gang.

The development came as an adviser to the Ukrainian president warned that the Chernobyl site may be used by Russia as a blackmail tactic against the West.
Oleksiy Arestovych, an aide to President Volodymyr Zelensky, said that he believes the site has been seized as a "possible blackmail" tactic.
"Chernobyl has been seized and I think they will blackmail the West." he said

FFS. Do we really need to be told the same thing three times in three sentences? ****ing journalism is now a joke.

              Journalism exists now?

It's like a secondary school kid trying to get their word count up.

Given who we're talking about I don't see the difference between these two sentences:

Putin may launch nukes if NATO gets involved.
Putin may launch nukes if he loses.

Yeah I think it's clear from his statements and demeanour in council that he's actually gone mad now. I think the only moderately painless outcome for Europe is if one of his inner circle does him in. Given the bullying tactics he openly uses to keep them in line with his singular vision, resentment must he high.

Anonymous has declared cyber war on Russia.
Love it. The collective minds around the globe should unite and DDOS the entire country.

Hackers launch cyber attacks against Russian government websites, including state-controlled Russia Today, in response to the Ukraine crisis.

Power definitely does a lot to these guys but the levels of paranoia he must have as well won't help. It should say everything to the Russian public as well that Putin spent the first half of his second term working on opening the door to a third and fourth term, then when he gets that agreed in 2020 will have plainly spent much of 2021 planning this, likely slowed due to COVID. All he has to do next is rig the next election and poison anyone who runs against him because apparently no nation on earth cares if a foreign nation assassinates people on your own soil.

Not to mention that he can drop himself down to prime minister for a term, then run for president again like he did before. He's president until the day he dies basically.
Boris and his cronies only wish they had it as wrapped up as this guy.
