The January 06 Hearing has begun showing unseen footage from the day of the attack and framing Trump as the central figure responsible for the Capitol Hill insurrection. Cheny testified that when Trump was told the crowd was aiming to hang Mike Pence he had said Pence probably 'deserved it'. He also stated that multiple aides pushed Trump to issue them pardons for their involvement in supporting the insurrection.
Trump posted online during the trial defending the insurrection as 'the greatest movement in the history of our country to Make America Great Again'
Perhaps the most cutting testimony though came from one close to Trump's heart...
