The US and UK assured Ukraine of its safety if they denuclearised after the fall of the Soviet Union. I feel like we aren’t really keeping up our end of the deal at the moment. I also feel like it would take practically nothing for Putin to launch nukes so I’m not really sure what I think should be done.

That's the issue here.

We all know the Russian goverment is ****ing disgusting and going to war (Despite protests from the usual crew here) but what can the world do? Like the cold war, if we have soldiers on the ground killing Russians, then it's only a matter of time the threat of mutually assured destruction becomes reality.

Putin knows it and will use this to see how much he can push the worlds powers. The problem is, he knows we wouldn't dare because of Nuclear war but at some point, when you're killing innocents in the street (The current BBC image being used is gutting to see) what does he ****ing expect to happen?

Either Ukraine will be destroyed and replaced with a Russian puppet goverment and Putin will retreat to his little cave and see what the world does, or this will be a long battle and eventually, the world will have to get involved. And who knows where that will lead?

I’ve been saying this for YEARS. We don’t have leaders, just people collecting paycheques and using up the day to line their own pockets.

We better all hope our military is in a better state that the political side, as if we do have to go to war then it certainly won’t be with bungle at the helm.

Best thing you can do with trolling posts is not respond.

The regex \[QUOTE=(.*)(;[0-9]+)\](.*)\[\/QUOTE\] and then not outputting group 1 or 2 if group 1 matched the blocked user ID would have the desired effect but, as we have discussed, you'd have to run it on every post for every user every time you rendered the page. Too expensive probably.
