Really? How so? He’s one of the most successful business persons on the planet despite everyone in every industry doing everything they can to stop him. The car industry did everything they could to make him fail, the space industry very much did everything it could to bankrupt and make space x fail, he still pushed through and succeeded.

Twitter’s going to end up an alt-right cesspit under Apartheid Wanker’s control and quickly become unusable. It’ll be collapse of MySpace/live journal/tumblr all over again. But on a larger scale. That's the worst aspect. Trump broke Twitter's rules years before he was actually banned. It's ridiculous it took so long.

Twitter's slide into crapness really picked up momentum at that point; in a private club if a person breaks the rules, they should be kicked out, regardless of whether they're some random person or the president of a nation. The fact that they were willing to compromise on those rules was a sign of things to come.
