HS2 Rebellion say they are ready to occupy space under Euston Square Gardens to stop it being sold off
HS2 Protestors have dug a 100ft tunnel beneath Euston Square Gardens in an effort to stop it being sold off. What could go wrong?!
PM stresses 8 March ‘earliest’ date for schools reopening; 1,725 deaths recorded in second highest daily toll; arrivals from red list countries face quarantine
Johnson asked why 1.8m haven't yet had financial support during the pandemic, responds by saying the Government will continue to put its arms round people which is typical of the kind of response you'd expect from a party that doesn't know how to conduct behaviour during these events
Challenged about the 100,000 death toll Johnsons response was clear and direct - let's not think about it right now

EU health commissioner dismisses AstraZeneca argument it is contractually obliged to supply UK first
This is one instance where I'm not sure if I'm missing something or beginning to agree with... Boris? The EU is kicking off in a larger style after the head of AstraZenica has said that the UK doses order the vaccine must be met before the EU can receive its doses meaning only 25% of their order will be delivered by April. The EU has hinted at banning exports of the vaccine to the UK if the situation continues. However, the UK ordered its vaccines three months before the EU did and as of right now the EU still hasn't quite cleared it for use either so I assume I'm missing something as it seems completely normal that a company would complete an order and not prioritise a later order because it says it should.
The artist behind the Angel of the North has kicked off that A1 improvements will spoil the view of the angel. I don't live near it but... tossing a grenade... I'd tear it down, it's an ugly SOB
Boris declares that schools won't reopen before 08 March. Critically, schools will remain the very first measure lifted meaning this announcement also secures that Lockdown 03 will remain in place till late March at the very, very earliest.

If you order late then other orders which were in place before you should be fulfilled in full first
Also the vaccine isn't set to be approved for use in the EU until tomorrow so no offense but you don't get to suddenly jump everyone else & demand you have an order filled now

German authorities have advised against the use of AstraZeneca vaccine for over 65's but... experts say there's no evidence the vaccine doesn't work on that age group
UK has ordered 60m doses of Novavax jab; French health authority says only enough doses left for second shots from 2 February
Novovax vaccine hits 89% effectiveness with the UK having 60m doses ordered
Remember when Rita Ora unknowing broke restrictions... twice? Well, her aides sure can't claim not to know what they were doing as Police confirm they bribed the restaurant £5,000 to break COVID rules. Her security also mandated CCTV be disabled and... no-one ever ended up paying the money to the restaurant.
