Truss is like an open defiance of the issues, a full on denial of what the masses want just so those corrupting and abusing the offices of power can continue to do so for another two years. She might be easy for them to use pre-GE but I honestly don't know how the right based party members think for one second she won't be easy to nail to the wall in the election itself.

If you understand the priorities of the Tory party members, then you'd know why it isn't, at least in the short/medium term.
(Environment was at the bottom of the list of priorities they had).
It may not be a good long term strategy though.
