The worse thing is there are doubtless too many people in the UK who will be happy to see her in irons.

We have such a weird culture of conformity in the UK. the nail which sticks out definitely gets hammered down.

But its fine to ride electric scooters on the road with no protection, tax, insurance, lessons, and flip the bird to all the law abiding drivers you can find. This country is utterly retarded.

It's wrong too mostly because if she'd done the same on September 6th she wouldn't have been arrested no doubt. We're deep now into the whole Queen saga becoming intolerable. I'm sick of hearing about how much she loved horses too, you know there wasn't much good to say about her when you have to talk about horses and corgi's for twelve hours a day

Nice of the country to pay for her disgustingly expensive horse habit too, very nice of us all. Seriously anyone ever kept horses? You wouldn’t for long trust me, might as well take up drugs it’s way cheaper.

Not supporting the arrest, but it was probably the expletive that caused it. We have never technically had complete free speech in that way.

What I'd be curious to find out is what would happen if somebody held up large signs with factual statements like "The Queen gave £2 milion to Prince Andrew so he could settle a lawsuit for sexual abuse".

                  Not quite there, but close.

The arrest came as the Queen's coffin was being taken to St Giles' Cathedral, where it will rest until tomorrow. A woman has also been charged after holding an anti-monarchy sign outside the proclamation service on Sunday.

"Andrew, you're a sick old man"

My practice asked the clinicians what they wanted to do in regards of the upcoming Bank holiday. All who are in have said they wanted to work (most have just come back from long holidays and need to catch up with work) so it means work as usual. The guy I work with was fine with whatever but chose the middle ground to only work in the morning.

Doesn't affect me at all as I had already booked that day as unpaid leave as a possible travel day as I am visting my mother for her big birthday and needed that day in case I was driving not getting the train. Completely forgot I had that Monday off until last week, no idea if I'll get anything back for it but we'll see.

Of course any sniff of an excuse not to see patients my GP was very quick to say they would close 'out of respect' for the funeral

Police said that people have the right to protest against the monarchy.
                      Evidence suggests otherwise.

I had no idea that simply holding a sign during a protest is also not allowed anymore.
So essentially you can protest as long as its silent, doesn't have an effect on the public, are not in large numbers and you don't tell verbally or in writing what you are protesting about.
                      Is this Russia?!

Judging by the amount of Russian cash in the Tory party were part way there.

^ The cancelling of hospital medical procedures and operations in Wales trumps that for madness.
