You once found some of my comments on this topic offensive but you cannot be serious with this and must know the impacts of these medications differ greatly...right?

I think what I meant was clear - that we don't prescribe ANY medication without a great deal of thought.

Noone gets antidepressants, for example, just because they ask. There's a process.

I won't lie, it's a very telling question asking if the Tories have done anything decent in the 13 years that they've been in power because genuinely without any effort to be sarcastic or vindictive against them... no, I genuinely can't think of anything at all.

That's a fair point. As you look into it more though, you see that not all doctors are equal and some actively encourage (you could say groom) young teens into taking puberty blockers. It's not so much as issue here as it is in America where everything is done for profit but it'll happen here if everyone just lets it.

            Look at this ****!
Why? What purpose does this serve?

My opinion is, people should be free to do what they like as long as it doesn't purposefully physically and mentally hurt another person.

You could say that. You’d be wrong and it would expose you as someone getting your knickers in a bunch over something that doesn’t concern you at the expense of the lives of other people but, yes, you could say it. You’d be better off putting that energy into writing more Harry Potters though.

Just watch "What Is a Woman" which you'll dismiss as biased but in that film they speak to doctors with balanced views and one insane woman giving drugs to any child boy that expresses an interest in dolls.

As for gender identity in schools, thats the exact rule that we already have in Wales. Otherwise there would be mass confusion and lawsuits as teachers write "he" on a report.

Just watch Zeitgeist, msn. 9/11 was an inside job. Just do your research. Honestly, if you had any idea how that sounds when you say doctors are grooming kids into being trans, like there is a grand conspiracy to turn the world trans or the idea that people will transition to win sports events or get into bathrooms to rape people. It’s borderline psychotic but definitely a sign that you’re not in any way rational about it.

But for the most part, I don’t even believe that these ideas drive the produce. They’re an attempt to justify views that the holders know are irrational and they feel the need to rationalise them.

I won’t get into it with you because I know you’re too deep in but I can tell you it’s harmful.

There’s not much of a process really. I have seen on more than one occasion a single visit to a GP with the patient having a prescription in a day or two.

I see both sides. I also personally know real life trans people and they are lovely people. But I have also experienced the grooming side of things and there are doctors with that mentality, also. It will be a small amount but it is there. I never used absolutes and never said it was a conspiracy but one or two having their life ruined is enough. The link between autism and trans is also there. It's there to see that there are people being taken advantage of. I have never said there weren't genuine cases either and I do believe in gender dysmorphia.

The sex and gender debate throws me though. It's clear cut surely.

I think so too, but I suspect we have entirely different perspectives on the matter.

Is yours that you can change your sex?

You can totally change your sex. Missionary is not the only way. Since getting a tattoo of an old Irish symbol that I found out afterwards has been co-opted by the S&M community (google your tattoos in advance, guys), a whole world has opened up. So not only can you change your sex but I highly recommend it.

Some rumours circling that 44 letters of no confidence have been sent to the 1922 commission, only 9 away from a vote. Could we see another PM by Xmas?
