While Boris and his chums were disregarding the rules they set and having a jolly piss up, I had limited access to my mother in the last couple of weeks of her life. I`m not the only one. I don't want sympathy, I just want him to be honest for once and then **** off!

Search for missing Titanic submersible a ‘challenge’ as rescuers race against time | The Titanic | The Guardian
A submersible containing a captain and four tourists headed to visit the wreck of the Titanic has disappeared. Searches are underway for the vessel which, if still intact, will have less that 70 hours if oxygen remaining. Amongst the passengers, who have paid £200,000 per ticket, is UK Billionaire Hamish Harding. The submersible, named Titan, has few ways of being brought to the surface even if found amongst the debris field on the sea bed.

Even a 20% vote for the Tories, for me, is enough to simply despair. Honestly, what does it take?!

Often the remaining Tory voters boil down to a small handful of types:
-Hardline Brexiteers who firmly believe that Labour will rejoin the EU instantly
-Johnson/Tory apologists who bleat on about 'they've had such a hard time'
-Hardline Tories who actually believe that Labour are no better despite the zero evidence supporting it
-Well off people who hate the mythical benefit cheat

Just listening to the radio now about the missing submersible and... it's just not worth doing. The scale of things against their survival is so large that even if they aren't actually underwater and have managed to float up to the surface they will still be dead within the coming 2 or so days because it has to be opened externally meaning their air will still run out on them.

For me its a real non story, billionaires and their stupid toys
The real issue today is the mortgage market is heading for a crash, letting house prices increase exponentially under an extended period of low interest mortgages is now causing massive problems. Lots of people priced out of property's They could afford last year but now cant thanks to soaring interest rates. Its going to hit renters too as mortgage costs going up is gonna pushes rents up. Is hunt going to help? nope as people need to loose their property to bring down interest rates.
Jeremy Hunt faces calls to introduce mortgage interest tax relielf from Conservative MPs at Treasury Questions, and rules out price caps on food
who's fault is it though is it??? thats right its Gordon Browns!
So he scrapped a tax break in 2000 and nobody thought to reintroduce this in the 23 years of goverment that's followed because you know scrapped policys have to stay scrapped its the law.Last edited by Lebowski; 20-06-2023, 15:21.
