Filing for bankruptcy isn't going to give him a get-out-of-paying free card. There's a reason the fine was so high, and that's all on Giuliani himself.

Are the forumites in Japan OK?
For those not knowing, a 7.5 eathquake struck the Noto peninsula in central Japan.
Also, a JAL A350 collided with a Japanese Coast Guard plane at Haneda airport.

Sad day in Japan. Thankfully the in-laws are fine.

Looks like a runway incursion by the coastguard plane, I rewound my FR24 and you can't see the coastguard plane at all - I believe it doesn't have ADSB so no surprise there. All the traffic was landing on 34L the A359 came in on 34R alongside a Solaseed B737 on 34L, will have to wait to see what the ATC was saying to the coastguard pilot as there may have been some confusion.

all okay down here. Yamaguchi is a pretty much earthquake free zone or at least big ones.
The one yesterday was a biggin and had it happened in any other Asian country besides South Korea, I can imagine the devistation being 10 times worse. The only houses to fall down were very old Japanese style ones which isn't surprising. Sadly a massive fire broke out in one area taking out a load of homes.


The flight had over 300 people on it but amazingly all survived and got off the plane while it was in flames. That's a bloody miracle!
The costguard's plane (actually army) crew wasn't so lucky. 6 on board and all dead. The plane was on its way to help the earthquake victims. So sad.
