Here's a Daily Mail headline bemoaning the European Court of Human Rights:
However, this week, the publisher of the Daily Mail has won a ruling at the European Court of Human Rights opposing “excessive” costs incurred by claimants in defamation and privacy cases.
The publisher argued that its right to freedom of expression, under Article 10 of the European Convention, had been breached.

Nigel Farage, "Maybe mend some fences between this government and the incoming presidency of Donald Trump, given that the whole of his cabinet have been so rude about him over the last few years"
Keir Starmer, "I'm glad to see the honourable member make a rare appearance back here in Britain. He's spent so much time in America recently, I half expected to see him on the immigration statistics"

It's interesting that the last three posts include:
- Brexit has damaged the UK economy
- More than 1 in 3 children are living in poverty
- Some farmers are facing inheritance tax
They're all intertwined.
I wish we hadn't left the EU.
I wish farmers hadn't voted for it.
I wish children weren't in poverty.
I wish the press would spend more time focussing on the children in poverty, rather obsessing over people with farms worth over a million pounds.
"There were a total of 462 inherited farms valued above £1m in 2021-22, according to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), external:
345 valued between £1m and £2.5m
80 at £2.5m to £5m
37 above £5m
Under the new rules, those 462 farms would be affected by the 20% inheritance tax on any value above £1m (not on the whole value)."

Jeremy Clarkson, Nigel Farage and Katie Hopkins are all lending their support to the farmers' protest in London today, if that helps you pick a side.
Bonus point for Shadow DEFRA Secretary, Victoria Atkins, turning up in a union jack-et to say Labour are city socialists who don't understand farmers, unlike her government that totally understood the effects of Brexit, trade deals with New Zealand and the mitigating climate change...
