This is what Trump wrote. Sorry, I meant "TRUMP" wrote:

An interesting take on this is that Zelenskyy baited Trump to speak out like this, shifting America's "neutral" stance of being a suitable host for Russian/Ukrainian negotiations. At that point, Trump could parrot what Putin wants with the claims of just wanting to achieve peace.

With Trump writing the above, he has been openly hostile to one of the sides, meaning the US are no longer an objective observer, thus losing their ability to host any negotiations.

It's still pretty sickening to read, though.

Trump is such a prick. He's openly blaming the war on Ukraine yet it was Russia that started it. How can he even be taken seriously?
I guess Trump is still hungry for some tinny Russian sausage 😂

I hate the way it's called fact-checking. It should be called "Counting the Lies" or "Spot The Facts"

The Caesar-like tones of this are interesting (i.e. the "TRUMP" now practically a third-person entity).

Its not rocket science, Trumps always been a disgusting lecherous old dictator, he's just only got the power to enact his fascist little fantasy world, he's also always fancied putey as well, and now they can be together in their happy little fantasy world and make all their lies a semi reality.

If whats left of democracy had any balls whatsoever, it would launch a thunder run on Washington and put these Nazis heads on spikes, publicly, and get its house in order, the whole nation needs to rise up quickly and violently and stamp this out as a warning to any future would be dictators. Once thats done the US can throw its might against Russia and obliterate whats left of puteys conscripts.

At least that's what should happen, in reality its going to get so bad for the next 10-20 years i fear it will break whats left of democracy for good, the nazis have effectively won at this point.

I can't find the link now but I read late last night that Trumps comments have already bolstered Zelensky's support on his home ground. Trump blatantly now just wants to pull all US support and not take any flak for it thinking that doing so will let Russia steamroll in. Europe really needs to stop ****ing in the wind after three years and take a more definitive stance in terms of whether they want to let Ukraine fall because it's going to happen otherwise and tip-toeing around Russia and the US for another four years isn't going to work. Brace for Taiwan to go soon too.

We need NATO troops, defences, tanks & planes in the sky and ground in Ukraine, so that it frees the entire Ukrainian forces up to finish what their so good at, hunting fascists.

Throw all of EU NATO at the problem and i guarantee Russia would be pushed out of all of Ukraine in a month, including Crimea.

Just look at what old NATO weapons have done in the hands of Ukraine, Puty is absolutely terrified of NATO, use it.

Might trigger a nuclear response, but **** it, rather go out this way than let Putin crawl his way across the European map like Hitler.

Aye, kick Putin's arse from here to Vladivostok and then tell Trump to **** off and get his minerals elsewhere.

Trumple is threatening to pull starlink support to all of Ukraine if they don’t sign over mineral rights.

That orange pice of s**t just gets worse every day.

edit. It’s actually Poland that purchased and continues to pay for starlink for Ukraine, so once again trumple making pathetic threats just for the sake of being a bully.

Trump really wants to sell Putin as the good guy. Speculate for whichever reason as much as you like.

But this is creating a rift, even among Senators supporting Trump.

On the other side of the fence, Putin has declared victory over NATO. Unfortunately, with the US playing right into Putin's hand, I can't really object to this.

Also worth noting the EU has provided more support to Ukraine than the US. On a side note, as long as Trump continues on this road, European nations will accellerate development of indigenous alternatives to weapons and other systems, meaning less sales to the EU and more competition on the world market.

The Ukraine Support Tracker lists and quantifies military, financial and humanitarian aid promised by governments to Ukraine.

I’m seeing all over social media he was recruited in the 80’s by the kgb, basically for his stupidity. How true it actually is i couldn’t tell you, well the stupidity part is 100% fact, but it’s very plausible they recruited him as he’s a greedy little fascist.

I'm not sure how much I believe all that.

I believe Trump wants to curry favour with Putin. But then if you look at Trump's life, from the earliest times (of which we know) to now, there's a common thread, in that Trump acts like some comical approximation of how a rich person appears to a foolish poor person, and it's clear why. As someone who is, in all but name, Tsar, Trump would idolise Putin because he's come closest to what Trump desires among all else.

Trump wants to be upper class. He wants to be an aristocrat.

It's why he's got an obsession, practically a verbal tick, with the best, the finest. He thinks that owning casinos and gold toilets makes him a blue-blood, when in practice, others know that aristocracy doesn't work like that and you can't become an aristocrat, you can only be born one. It doesn't matter if you're the world's richest man, or win nobel prizes, or Olympic medals, or marry the right person. You can never fully be part of that world. You can be accepted within it, certainly, and if that was all Trump wanted then we wouldn't be in this whole mess, but it's clear that isn't enough for him.

But the idea he was literally recruited... I dunno. I don't think it's that tinfoil hat. I think it's just like Farage; Farage has complex opinions on the Ukraine War and Putin because he's accepted Russian money and appeared on Russian State TV, and he probably sees a day the war is over and he doesn't want to burn his bridges (the slimy little toad-faced ****). I think it's just more likely that Trump has engaged with that much business with Russian people over the years and sees the Oligarchs as his brethren. It doesn't need to involve the KGB.

Yep, Trump is too much of a useful idiot more than anything else. He'll have met with Putin and the deal will be a simple as Trump throws Ukraine to the wolves allowing them to carve it up whilst staying out of any future Russian aggression and in exchange Putin will throw his weight behind Trumps future attempt to destroy fair elections in the US.

Someone in the Democrats really needs to keep track of all Trump appointees during this term and if they are ever allowed back into office, immediately flush them all out on Day 1.
