How can anyone take that prick seriously? He's nothing but a commie loving propaganda pushing dick for the Russians and Chinese. Not to mention a complete tosser who thinks he's a cat.

Rochdale has a bit of a weird situation. They had a huge problem in the last decade where there were these "grooming gangs" who were abusing local young women. This is a very tight summary of a complex problem, but the simplest explanation of this was that the gangs were mostly made up of non-white people, while the council and local police force were predominantly white, and while they knew full-well about the ongoing situation, they didn't investigate and turned a blind eye because whenever they did, the community suggested they were being racist.

(to be clear - if you're an expert on this situation and I've got this wrong, please let me know - but bear in mind I don't live there and only have the media to go on, which, realistically, probably informs most people)

This isn't an excuse of course. But it might explain why Rochdale might elect an MP they see as kinda beyond being called a racist. Like that time Middlesbrough's police chief was fired for brutality, and then was voted mayor in an earth-shattering landslide a few months later.

Thanks for the information. I had no idea what was going down. A bloody shame. I mean, if there is proof of what's going down, crack down on it no matter what the colour is. All this political correctness and woke **** is ruining the world as the twats know they can use it to their advantage.

Genuinely the first time I've read about this, but tbh I really don't think that's the reason why Galloway got elected to Parliament by the Rochdale constituency. Labour were on track to win the by-election fairly comfortably until their campaign imploded because their candidate Azhar Ali made antisemitic comments that were recorded - absolutely toxic for the party given what transpired under Corbyn.

Galloway has simply taken advantage of that and the pro-Gaza ceasefire sentiment amongst Rochdale's muslim community. He pulled similar tricks to win seats in Bradford and Bethnal Green & Bow before that - both constituencies with large muslim communities.

Do not be surprised if Galloway loses the Rochdale seat before the GE. He is a self-serving sh1thouse who is no better than Farage. Labour removed the whip from Ali and immediately stopped campaigning in Rochdale They'll almost certainly return with another candidate.

It's the people of Rochdale who I feel the most sorry for.

The cat thing is embarrassing, but whilst we're looking at that, we're not looking at all the other awful things he's done, as I said in my last post about him.

Personally, I'm finding it hard not to judge people who use "woke" as a pejorative term.
It means "alert to racial prejudice and discrimination". I really don't think it's a bad thing to be aware of social inequalities.

Galloway, not only claims his party is anti-woke, but also got voted in by claiming he was standing up for Gaza, which is really seems to me to be a giant-scale example of people suffering because of inequality.

He claimed to be clamping down on grooming gangs and also campaigning outside mosques claiming God will judge people who vote for Labour.

George Galloway only represents George Galloway.

A word that originated from African-American english vernacular about being aware of racial prejudice and discrimination, as far back as the 1930s.

Anybody who has spectacularly and deliberately misused the word since then is telling you exactly who they are. Believe them.

Apparently someone wrote DIE TORY SCUM on Hunt's office earlier.

I don’t think he can neatly be described as a communist lover, so much as a lover of anyone that suits him. He is deplorable.
