The final ever The Beatles song has released
Here's a short documentary about the new Beatles song and how they put it together even though John's part was recorded in his New York flat back in the 70s.

Imagine if Sunak received this much grief for his identical position
Starmer speaks to defend his stance on the Hamas/Israel ceasefire demand for a third time this week.
If you want Israel to cease all attacks and movement against Hamas, but don't expect the same from Hamas it really begs some very troubling questions about intention

Women losing out as couples try to divorce ‘on the cheap’ | Divorce | The Guardian
Reform to make asset equal sharing a default are under consideration. Divorce is simply too long a process with too high a cost attached. Each marriage requires a bespoke assessment but it's the cost gouging that needs sorting so couples can come to a mutual and efficient outcome more easily. Asset sharing needs to be divorced from divorce. Getting divorced doesn't mean that the claim exists by default. Simplifying the system and lowering the cost would get more cases through and a greater focus on the ones where the attention is necessary.

Exclusive: Tory peer and husband, Douglas Barrowman, had repeatedly denied roles in firm given £200m government Covid contracts
Wow so 3 years of stating that you have nothing to do with a company turns into "yeah you caught us with our hands in the till" will anything be done about this probably not,
She should be removed as a peer immediately and criminal proceedings should be brought in. She's a liar and she manipulated her position to make her company a massive amount of money at the tax payers expense. To rub salt in the wound the stuff medpro delivered wasn't even usable and had to be destroyed.Last edited by Lebowski; 06-11-2023, 13:00.

The early days of the COVID pandemic resulted in the cabinet being on something resembling war-footing. There were a great many unknowns, and while it's very clear the government has done many unforgivable things, I believe that most reasonable people can understand that they were never going to get everything right. I'm sure if, in any crisis, if you go through things with the benefit of hindsight with a fine-tooth comb you'll find problems; but people had to make decisions in-the-moment where to hesitate just wasn't an option.
But.
That's absolutely no excuse for spending a boatload of money on something that didn't work, to line the pockets of a member of the government. There is no way to excuse that, even given some latitude for mistakes.
