    Kemi Badenoch elected Tory Leader.

As things currently stand, women and/or ethnic minorities have a far greater chance of reaching the top in the Tory party than they do in Labour. Considering how racist and sexist we know the Tories are, this is both ironic and absolutely belief-beggaring.

It is a narrative that simply has to change in the coming years for Labour.

True, but on the flip side the Tories have just restored Labours chances of getting that second term. They have literally learned absolutely nothing from their defeat, I don't even fancy her chances of making it to the next GE.

I dont know, I get good vibes from her and she's quite conservative, my hunch this will be bad news only for Reform really.

Dawn Butler posting on twatter that Badenoch is the black face of white supremacy is mental, should be suspended. Seems where labour are at.

Badenoch is vile, slithering around in the shadows of more bullish POS's like Braverman. Now that she's in the lead role the spotlight will take all but 5 minutes to shine the light on her and burn its way through. The Tories need a very hard reset, she's a poor photocopy of the same incompetent, self interest driven moronicness that got them where they are. Chasing Reform will just cement their continued decline.

Maybe your vibes are seriously off? We literally saw that Rishi veering to the right didn't work for the Tories so why would it work now?

Badenoch openly called for Tory donor Frank Hester to be forgiven for publicly stating that Diane Abbott made him hate all black women and that he wanted to shoot her.

Her various public culture war/wOkEnEsS comments also speak for themselves.

White supremacy is absolutely correct. She is disgusting.

It is alarming that women and ethnic minorities attain to higher positions in Tory politics than in Labour, and I'm sure the Tories will continue to try to score political points on that. The reality, though, is they are hugely welcoming to the advancement of venal and cruel narcissists with no moral compass, regardless of demographic.

Bad Enoch should’ve been automatically ineligible for being an MP, let alone leader, of a mainstream party with her disgusting comments about autism, TBH.

I really wish they'd have taken stock of their momentum and had second thoughts about chasing the Reform vote, but here we are.

Badenoch names Patel as Foreign Affairs (sacked by May for going beyond brief of Intl Development) and Jenrick as Justice (doesn’t know the meaning of the word, clearly). 😂

She's somewhat limited on choices, the most notable names being the ones avoiding senior roles because most likely they know the knives will go in her back in a year or two's time and they benefit best from distance. Still, the appointments are the definition of extending the sad and withered corpse of the old rather than heralding in the new.

Yeah, some slim pickings to fill the shadow cabinet.

Remember when Nigel Farage said it was "absolutely crazy" and a “very clear breach of American electoral law” that Labour activists were volunteering to campaign for Harris despite paying for their own flights and using their own time?

Well anyway, here's Nigel Farage, a British MP receiving a salary from UK taxpayers whilst The House of Commons is currently sitting, that should be there representing Clacton as their elected MP, currently in the USA (again) reporting on a Donald Trump rally and being paid by GB News to cover it, whilst being totally non-partisan about whom he sides with:
