YES! It's the Rebel MP,
Rough like a Ninja, Stinging like a bee
Pump up the house (of Commons) and groove it
Stop, you're in a shakedown zone (stopping street crime)
You like bass, I love it to the bone (Except at illegal gatherings)
Hustle, I got (political) muscle
Time to rock 'cause the rhythm is trouble
Dance, let's go crazy (clinically diagnosed with schizophrenia)
When you see me, shout "Rebel MP"
Outlaw kicking up dust
You know what it is, I'm just street tuff (and tuff on street crime)

Diane Abbott accuses Keir Starmer of treating her like a ‘non-person’ | Diane Abbott | The Guardian
Minister struggles to defend Keir Starmer over his record of accepting freebies – UK politics live (theguardian.com)
I know there's a discussion to be had about MP's accepting gifts at all, but as long as it remains an accepted norm this really feels like a scandal in search of a story. It's not a gotcha to fail to bait a Labour MP into publicly dragging their own leader over the coals, just as referring to Johnson's donations - where he took £180,000 just to decorate a flat - fails to compare to £76,000 over a half decade. I really don't mind having MP's barred from gifting, but trying to honey trap Labour when there's enough to pull apart is going to get old over the next five years.

John Major says that the Rwanda Plan was un-British, un-Christian and unconscionable.
Summarising how, despite being utterly annihiliated at the General Election, the Tories are still utterly incapable of any form of understanding of their fate - Badenoch has said that Reform UK voters should be seen as 'our people' and that the Tories didn't do enough to chase them.
From 31 October it will be illegal for anti-abortion campaigners to operate within a 150m radius of a clinic

Opinium poll for the Observer finds a 45-point drop in the prime minister’s approval rating since he won the election
Starmer’s basically the British Macron, isn’t he? A “centrist” who’s indistinguishable from the right-wingers. An authoritarian neoliberal politician swimming in wealth, cut off from the reality of how normal people struggle and suffer.
