Does anyone know anywhere we could go to do something wild and exciting? Snowboarding or water skiing or something like that? We have rail passes so anywhere in japan is fine.
Alternatively go down south to the tropical Okinawa and do some surfing. Its beautiful.

Originally posted by DarwockI think I might know what you're talking about dave, there was a Don Quixote department store we went into in Akihabara; the third or fourth floor had a lot of girls in french maid outfits playing cards with guys sat along a counter. Very unusual.
Would love to hear if anyones been brave or stupid enough to go into one though. Bet they're fun

Originally posted by dave heatshaha, i should have known you might have been in mate!
so tell me, what goes on in there. is it all above board? from what ive heard, its just otaku's going in there, talking to girls for once and if theyre lucky getting pictures taken with their favourite?
Just that, although i got the impression that if enough cash was flashed around the nice ladies would meet you at another location, somewhere, sometime.
Actually, i get that impression virtually everywhere i go in Japan.........
It seemed more to be about fantasy than "relations"
