I have never paid to get in there by the way, not once
On "ladies nights" you can wander into Wall Street and wander out of there withing 15 mins with a decent bird ready for the nasty. Which sometimes is all you really need

Slightly changing the location but Singapore good/bad? Zouk sounds good however like Tokyo I'm sure the drink prices are on the steep side.

Behind the shiny surface, it is pure filth. Orchard Towers should be your 1st port of call, Crazy Horse on the top floor is my fav. Geylang is a "nice" area too
I hate Nana Plaza btw, Soi Cowbay and Patpong all the way. The "chicks" in Casanova's scare the life out of me.

Oh I see, sorry, you're just a tourist whom is an expert on Tokyo night life. Thought you actually lived here. Nevermind.
No, i dont actually live near some bins in Dobuita, sorry. I am indeed just a tourist. Therefore any advice/opinions directed to fellow tourists can be dismissed with great haste.Last edited by Jushin-Thunder-Liger; 22-04-2006, 10:38.

Originally posted by KirbyAirlines like Lufthansa and KLM dont really have PTVs in Economy (KLM definitely dont unless they've upgraded since last May) hence their very cheap prices. Although saying that Lufthansa have one of the newest fleets now and i think the transatlantic/asian routes are mostly newer Airbuses. Would you rather pay ?850 for BA and have nice TVs or ?350 on Lufthansa and take a Gameboy and spend the extra cash on games/food/drink/geishas? I flew to Osaka via Amsterdam last year on KLM and the flight was ?550. As you'd expect all they had was ****ty TVs hanging off the ceiling, but the equivalent ANA and JAL prices were about ?750~?1200.
KLM are now using triples (B777's) which also have PTV's, used them last Oct/Nov into KIX and were great. Not just PTV's showing films screened at a preset time but on demand stuff from a large library, same with CD. Oh, almost forgot, layout is 3-3-3 on KL triples, some airlines do the nine abreast with 2-5-2 though Emirates have some fitted out with TEN abreat as per ANA and JAL domestic ones.
We also got 30k's of baggage in economy and paid ?430 + tax though admittedley they were the more expensive 3 month stay ones, the 1 monthers were under ?400.
For those who don't know, KIX has free wireless internet for passengers, PSP's work great
Asiana are very good but no PTV's and use B747's out of LHR where you need to transfer at Incheon airport Seoul.
Good deals can also be found on China Eastern using A340's out of LHR (no PTV), transferring in Shanghai, Qatar our of LHR/MAN with A330's, PTV's but not on demand video, this is being rolled out currently. Emirates also have good deals, new aircraft withPTV's - A330/A340/B777 and the huge A380's when they debut next year, but Emirates do not fly into Tokyo, only KIX and Nagoya.
Only problem going via mid east though is 6.5 hours there and STILL 10 hours or so to Japan!
