Not really. Many say that UK TV is bad but there is a wide range of shows to watch and at least something you would like. Here there's sweet FA.

Anyone been to Fuji-Q Highland?
I've got Friday off and we're thinking of going.
Seems like a bus from Tokyo is the least hassle and only a bit slower than train(you have to change trains after an hour).
They do travel+pass for ?7500.
Seems to cover everything except bowling and "Super Scary Labyrinth of Fear"(which of course I'll try).
Got permission to go to Thomas LandLast edited by randombs; 05-11-2014, 23:00.

I've been, and I went via bus from Tokyo too.
It's not the nicest theme park in the world - think Thorpe Park, not Disneyland, but it has three excellent roller coasters. Be prepared for long lines though. When I went it was a weekday but I still queued all day.
The top rides are Eejanaika (the seats are attached to axes which mean they flip you upside down on their own as you go around the track), Dodonpa (launch coaster which fires you out of the station at around 105mph, was at one point the fastest ride in the world), and Fujiyama (traditional style coaster without loops, but a VERY tall lift hill with a huge initial drop).
I think that was all I rode all day due to the queues. All three are brilliant coasters though.Last edited by wakka; 06-11-2014, 13:09.

How easy is to travel between those three cities? I would land and take-off from Sapporo. Is Sapporo alone worth 5 full days?
