DIC are looking to either fund Gillett's buyout of Hicks because he doesn't want to refinance the debt. Or they will also put up a £500mil package to buy the club.

Lets hope this ends Hick's involvement with the club. He seems to be the main antagonist in all of this.

i feel exactly the same. i dread speaking to mates who are man utd, chelsea or arsenal fans atm they all laugh about "this being our season".

The season has been poor for the last few weeks only. Before the Reading game we were doing well. Unfortunate losses against them and Man U and since then we have just not been converting. We have created so many chances and then just no goals....
We created more than enough chances to win all of our recent draws - fact. Balance of play, chances created etc we have done enough. I also think that we must concede the most goals per chance in the premiership. We generally give less than 5 chances away in a whole game yet we have conceded a fair few. Reina hardly does anything and then he cannot deal with what comes to him. He is a good keeper and makes fewer mistakes than last season but it is annoying.

The worrying thing is the type of goal - such a huge percentage of set pieces. That is just poor concentration. Before the reading game it had been a long time since we conceded from free kick work but since it has been pretty much all of them. Beginning we only conceded penalties. The only game where we conceded and it was not against the run of play was arsenal imo. That I have seen anyway. That is poor poor concentration.
I still don't think we are going backward EXCEPT the crouch/kuyt situation. I genuinely, above all, do not understand rafa here.
