A recent documented example of him doing this.

It's incredibly rare for managers not to come out (except in cases of penalties when they have to get a program off the air quickly) but it's not at all rare for Ferguson.

      Twas a humiliating defeat mind.

Yeah he didn't speak after that game but would be an isolated case, 99% of the time he comes out and speaks to them whatever the result. I'm sure if I really wanted to I could pick out a few rare occasions other managers haven't come out and spoken to the a certain channel after a game.

I know must hurt alot but come on now guys swallow the bitter pill, the league is over and we won it.

If that really is the case then Loofa is twat too but the difference is that Fergie is a title winning one

The 'Loofa' "joke" still eludes me. Then again. Mancs aren't known for their humour. Oh but you're not a manc either

It's ok, you don't have to get it.

"Oooo I don't live in Manchester so I must not be a real United supporter."

You know you're running low on your ammunition when you bring that old tired one out. I expect better from you man, come on.

You seem like you're a bit wound up man, I thought you loved all the "banter".

haha, that was boss! It hurt. Not as much as the fact when Man U play Liverpool... Manu U get found out. Everyone knows, Liverpool were the real deal this season. Keane was planted in our side as a saboteur. When he went, we went ballistic. All this season, in your thread, during matches... it's been "oh we're ****". Rightly so. Yers have played some tripe style footy and I have had many a laugh.

We need a poor man's manager, as explained we cannot spunk our cash in the same way as MU or Chelsea. Just like Kuyt is a poor man's Tevez etc. We cannot afford £50m every season, we cannot afford £30m reserves, or even the multiple £15m-20m reserves that other teams challenging have. We can't really afford the wages that others can either - finances are the reason that at strange times, Rafa has concentrated on the CL - I think we only really have the money to spend that we make beyond the group stages. It would be great if we could speculatively spend £10ms on players to sit on the bench but, when we have a big buy that does not work out (like Keane) we have to get rid,or try to, sharpish as we do not have the cash.
On that basis, what are the changes we need to make?

Has Ryan Babel had enough chances? He looks better in the middle I reckon, but still not that effective - not sure I'd have him ahead of N'Gog tbh. Riera blows a bit hot and cold and makes Garciaesque passes in his own half. Kuyt has been consistently good in his new posn and gets us a good few goals and assists - can't ask for too much more from a right sided midfielder.
Alonso and Masch have to stay and I think they will - Alonso really is like having Rafa on the pitch imho.
It is always full backs that need replacing according to the media - Arbeloa has been consistent and I cannot remember a single player giving him a seeing to and he supports really well. Running off the ball is great but a better delivery would be nce. Aurelio, Dossena and Insua are all good in different ways - Dossena looks A LOT better than early season but he must be considering his position in a World Cup year.

Ferguson does not interview with the BBC Sport because they head the temerity to not block BBC Panorama making investigations into the irregularities surrounding the employ of his son. Yes, his refusal to do post-match interviews is at odds with the rules but, rules are just rules for the little people.

Amazing talent you have to see these emotions in a text message. I've never been wound up. Too laid back some say. But once I hit the field, I amaze people with my footy skills. Keep scraping that southern barrel, pal

Hurt? Nah, I wouldn't be too pleased with yourself just yet and whack one off just yet, you're petty swipes mean nothing

Yeah I am honest, nothing wrong with that. We haven't been great this season but we still won the league. Liverpool have played well this season and didn't win the league, that says it all really.

Hold on, how many times has Loofa's Liverfool beat us? How many times have we beaten Loofa's Liverfool?

Yeah, we drew loads. Hopefully we've learned a lot from this season. Good stuff.

hoolak, it is true, they were tripe for parts of the season, but less tripey than the opposition - and that is what counts.
There is no point in being superior to the opposition unless you make it count. There is not a single draw I can think of at Anfield this season, and that is how we lost it this season, where were we not comprehensively the better team? - not a single game. Point the games out for me if you can, but did we get the points? You have to be able to sense the problems in the opposition. Tail end of the season, as MU were stumbling, they rode out the problem and took advantage. When, against Villa, the ref put up the 5 mins, they sensed the dejection in the Villa players and made it count. So what if others don't think they didn't deserve that game - the MU players thought they did and played like that. Similarly, Spurs were totally dumbfounded and by the ref and then MU made them really pay for the ridiclous defending that followed - they did not have to play fantasy stuff to score five. Generally, the title does not come as a result of great play - the real difference is the 1-0. And eight of them in the middle of the season made all the difference.

The gap between the teams within (and throughout) the Premiership this season has been embarassing in all honesty. It feels like a hugely different tournament to the league as we knew it. To see the cchanges, compare the runners ups over the Premier League years to the runners ups in the older system.

Nice one. I think it was would two of six or two of of eight?! Not exactly sure on that. It's all you can do really, cling on to the two victories over us this season. You won the battle but lost the war

In all seriousness, come on now, you guys would take getting beaten by us home and away if it meant you won the league?

saif has got it spot on. I have said it all along, Liverpool have played well this season but haven't got results against those lesser teams and that is where the title slipped away. When were away winning the World Club Cup in Japan, I think that was a crucial time as the other sides (including Liverpool) failed to capitalise and get away from us in terms of points.

We had patches where we played well but generally our wins came as a result of some quality defensive displays and that is what won us the league.
