Chelsea in stroke of luck shock

It was a boring game - Liverpool played well in the first half. Chelsea underperformed, with a dodgy system.

Second half was a bit more lively - nothing brilliant to see, though.

We pushed near the end - got a lucky own goal.

Can't wait for the second leg.

Liverpool will be able to rest their key players going into the second leg whereas Chelsea can't.

On a serious note todays result upset me becuase as a man united fan I personaly feel that we would have dealt with liverpool easily in the final (if we get there), where as chelsea are usualy much tougher a team to play against these days (for man united I mean).

For some strange reason, thoroughly enjoyed Chelsea's equaliser. Fancy you lot to go through and win this, you lot love cup competitions. No wonder Benitez is moaning about the ref, the fat fool's out of a job if he can't deliver something this season.

Think Rafa will be at Anfield for at least another year, but you never know, his departure could easily come down to a clash of personalities rather than results, Chelsea are a fine example of that.
