Man U equalize with a 92nd minute own goal. Why the hell don't we get this kind of luck?

Still, means a loss tomorrow isn't the end of the world.

Uneasy at the moment. Neither side really has had any chances but it's a fast moving game.

Mascerano did a shameful dive, trying to get Essien sent off for stamping; Essien put his foot down about half a metre from him and Mascerano goes down clutching his shin.

First half over. We had more chances and were attacking a bit more but it could still go either way.

Not a great game, only thing I even remember was a disgraceful dive by Mascherano. Essien *could* have hurt him, but he didn't touch him...and the following dive was just ugly as hell to watch.

Excellent stuff. We're top! Always great beating Liverpool.

Nervy 15 minutes but we were defensively solid and Liverpool, despite their pressure weren't able to create enough chances.

Not a fan of Ivanovich, he's too sloppy and careless for me. Gave away some silly free kicks.

Ditto for the 7-8 times Drogba threw himself on the ground clutching his leg every time a Liverpool player went near him. It's just embarrassing to watch now....

But yeah, Mascherano dives every bloody match, I really wish he'd stop because it looks pathetic

3 shots on target and they score twice, punished by bad defending of set pieces. Dominated the game but couldn't finish good chances. Why was Ivanovich subbed on for kalou instead of Joe Cole (who then came on 5 mins from the end).

Great second half performance from Chelsea. I was about ready to murder Kalou before he scored. The chances he missed...

Still not convinced that he's not a liability but he puts the work in at least.

As usual ITV gave us nothing spending ages going on about essien treading on another player's foot (painful but accidental) and saying how appauling for about 10 minutes when they ignored a studs showing tackle by them that would've been a red card in the premier league. Nothing but praise the whole game for Athletico and very grudging for Chelsea (at 3-0 chelsea were 'shaky')

Still, 4-0 and the most convincing performance of the English sides this week does all the talking you need.

Excellent result that against what can be a very dangerous team. Did all their superstars play?

Think they were full strength but they're in a slight slump at the moment Forlan and Aguero (who we're interested in) were dangerous at times.

Absolutely dominating but only a goal in front. Need to be careful.
