But Villarreal had all the bad luck in the world. A lot of injuries, their full striker force. They let Cazorla go to Malaga, and signed subpar players such as Guzman. On top of that they sacked their coach, and put an inexperienced Molina in the seat.

And then they did the worst thing a Spanish side can do; they signed Lotina.

I didn't realise he got injured AGAIN. Just looked it up, came back to training in April after six months, re injured his knee to sideline him for another ten months... Poor bloke! Such a shame.
