Messi has been clattered up and down all night. I think Carvalho was extremely lucky not to get a red for his elbow off the ball but i reckon he will get a ban for it.

Madrid were shocking and considering it was Mourinhos team the defense was bobbins. 5-0 is a heavy loss to your biggest rivals and you can bet the hierarchy won't be happy. Also anyone noticed that whenever Messi and Ronaldo are on the same pitch, it's only Messi that ever seems to turn up.

****ing hell...on paper, the two sides would appear to be fairly evenly matched. On the pitch tonight, however, the difference in class was staggering - cream and ****e. Barca absolutely dominated. The Madrid didn't half lose it towards the end lol.

That was great to watch, hilarious to see Barca rip Madrid to shreds! A little bit of revenge for Barca against Mourhino after his Inter put them out of the CL last season.

According to Sky that was the first time a Mourhino side has ever conceded more than 3 goals in a match

Real Madrid problem is chopping and change squad so much. They should let the team grow together and only make one big signing a season. Barcelona deserve it. Interesting fact above.

Well it's finally happened; after 150 matches, a Jose Mourhino team has finally lost a home league game!

Right before Spurs play 'em too. Not sure if it's good, bad, or makes no difference. I think I'd go with the latter.

Seeing the string of big wins Real Madrid racks up against any team thats not Barca i've yet to see if Barca really is stronger if Real trusted on its own abilities instead of waiting for them to come.

I think that if Mourinho can get a replacement or two (for the lesser gods such as Arbeloa), Real might topple Barcelona in the coming seasons.
