Balotelli is incredibly talented. I can see why City bought him, he can get close to the likes of Messi. He's really that talented.

Problem is that he's a complete nutcase too. As long as he won't change, he will never reach full potential. Do take in account that in Italy he had to deal with racial slurs game after game. That might play a part too. If he drops the bs and let his feet do the job from now on, that 23m is going to become a steal.

Bellamy apparently going to have his future decided today.

Clubs in the running are Cardiff, Everton (rumours), Bolton (daily star, goal.com) and Fulham (the hughes factor).

Apparently he's on between £90,000 and £110,000 a week and City are happy to pay half his wages, which for m rules out about half of the above teams.

On talk sport they were saying that Cardiff seemed the most likely.

I dislike the guy but a high profile player like him going on loan to a championship side... Calculated insult perhaps?

I think the whole thing with City is utterly wrong, they are throwing money on a scale that made Chelsea look like paupers.

Yeah, it's not ideal for the game. Players they spent lots on just last season are already looking like getting the boot. How they expect the manager to build any kind of consitency when his team is in so much flux I don't know.

And there are already rumours swirling that they're lining up Capello to take over as manager if they're not running away with the league by Christmas...

Saying that Neymar would cost chelsea £29m. That's too much for a kid.

While i agree, Utd effectively paid £27m for Rooney six years ago so it's not as ridiculous as it sounds.

He'd had a strong season for Everton though. There's also the usual "omg he's english!" inflation affecting that (eg. Hargreves being worth £25m).

Hargreaves, had he got over his injury problems, would have been one of the best in his role in the World, I believe. Its a big shame he has suffered so badly. Now Carrick, thats another thing all together, I'd agree with you on that one.
