Which is the one in ITV tonight then? Probably watch it.

Yeah, I'm usually quite up for the group stage of this, but this year I seem to have lost interest since the quali round finished.

Seems that it's the Man U game on ITV, City are on Sky sports 2

Superb counter attack and great finish by Cavani for Napoli, not an undeserved lead either.

And what a great free kick from Kolarov in response. Good game this.

I reckon it's because they're showing that the best way to bankroll an unsuccessful club to the top is with a Russian billionaire. Arabs aren't quite as good

Could be worse, could be owned by a series of banks under the control of a company in serious finanancial trouble and having to deal with crushing debt. That or being owned by a company that would rename the team "The Merseyside Red Sox" at the first chance they get.

Are we seriously getting into an argument about who has the most onerous owners?

                    Haha...

I'd call it friendly jesting rather than an argument

Plus we all know that the worst owner is simply anyone who says "What? Oh yeah Harry, of course you can borrow the chequebook. Here, let me sign some of those for you in advance to expedite things."

Now now, I think there are some clubs that didn't go to the crapper financially after he left.

                        Bournemouth seem to be stable!

It's a real tragedy too, as the likes of West Ham and Portsmouth were both impeccable models of stability and level headed ownership pre and post Harry....

Anyway, yeah, back on topic (not that West Ham and Portsmouth don't belong in a CL thread) any early predictions on who will win this season? I'm going for an outrageous punt and predicting Real Madrid.

I'm hoping that there's a lot of fresh blood at the quarter and semi final stages. As I said before, the same teams getting so far every season makes the competition a bit duller than it should be.

Chelsea vs Real Madrid in the final!

Only if we get to see Terry blub again

Napoli are my adopted team for this season, would love to see them get to the quarters or semis. Hopefully a team (or two) like Dortmund, Ajax or Lille can have a good run as well.
