I've been in a couple of pubs in Cardiff where the barperson has intentionally take a long time to serve me because I'm clearly from Bristol.

Don't worry, we Valley boys even get that in our Capital: Some in Cardiff think they're above most people sadly. The worst bit of blanent outright bigotry I've ever experienced, was in Weston Super Mare .

This year however we have been taken over by owners who seem to have a genuine long-term interest in the club and Zola has generally got us playing some really good passing football

I hope so , though if the owners were really serious I think they would do more permanent signings rather that it being a test bed and 2nd team for the Italians ; which also kind of makes a mockery of the loans market (though we've also played that game tbf) . Watford fans for years have been taken for a ride.

For purely selfish reasons I hope Watford don't go up. Vicarage Road is easy for me to get to when The Wednesday are playing in London. Which is another reason I am happy to see QPR and Reading doomed.

Never.
I was in Dublin for the weekend with the wife and I got her to agree to go to the pub to watch our match.
I chose the Oliver St John Gogarty on Temple Bar. The fact that the pub was painted yellow and green would surely be the extra bit of luck I needed.
Norwich managed to lose 6-0 at Fulham on the day to grab that final relegation spot.
I've gone pale just thinking about the trauma of it all.
