No Sturridge hasn't helped. He can give an opposing team that extra player to be scared about. But blimey, our defence has gotten worse than last season. Worrying.

Hard not to agree with these comments from a couple of people on BBC site
Paul from Norfolk: Totally bewildered about our performance this season. Rodgers seems to have totally lost the plot and not repaired the appalling defence which cost us the title last season. Gutted.
Mo from Manchester: People will say Brendan Rodgers did brilliantly last season, let's not forget Dalglish bought Suarez and let's be honest without him we'd have been in the same place last season. Awful signings, awful management, no plan B. Where's the development?

So, Real tonight and Chelsea at the weekend, if some players are rested tonight (Gerrard, Sterling), can see us get a thumping tonight and at best we can hope for is a draw against Chelsea really.
We've got less points in the league than Moyes and Man U had at the same point last year. Yipee.

So we're now more of a one man team than last season?
He won't be back fully fit until the New Year by the looks of it and we have about seven more league games by then.
Us, Man U, Arsenal have all had a lot of injuries.
Wasn't even a sell out at Selhurst Park today.
The only reason we're not in the bottom six now is there are a number of teams just as bad as us.
Today sums it all up, wonder if they'll both make it to the end of the season who'll get sacked first, Rodgers or Pochettino?
Not getting at you Hudson I just still can't believe how badly things have gone since the season started.
