A few marks on the casing but nothing major, a few keyboard keys have a bit of wear due to use. 2 of the 5 rubber feet are missing (they fell off and I never found them).

Now onto the specs:

Battery still holds an hour of charge.


It currently has *cough* Windows XP SP3 installed but this will be formatted and sold empty, or I can install ubuntu 10.10 for you if you like.

Of course if you want, I'm trying to find an official HP recovery CD as of now, if I do it should have a legit copy of XP on.

It now only has one rubber foot on but I have the other two here, I tried gluing them back on but they fell off again. Still a very nice and quick machine for the price though - as long as you don't want to play any games, it'll run quake3 but not any modern stuff with the intel graphics.

ah no, didn't mention that in the specs above, it has a combi DVDROM/CDRW drive. If you look on ebay under 'nc6400' you can find a slot in replacement for around £20 though.

Someone else on another forum didn't care about that so I sold it as is.

What would you have done? slaved away for hours finding an OEM HP disc, and installing the OS from scratch and all drivers for someone who never actually solidified interest, or sell it to someone who actually pm'd saying 'I'll take this, I don't care about what is installed or whatever'.

Well I assumed you were looking for it, as you implied earlier. Whatever, it's yours to sell to who you want, bit a little common courtesy wouldnt go amiss.

I wasn't the one with the rolleyes sonny jim. I sold it to someone who actually pm'd saying he'd buy it there and then, half way through me trying several OEM discs and most of them not getting anywhere.

I don't actually see what I've done wrong, someone PM'd, paid for it, I marked it as sold. Then you threw your toys out the pram. Hardly me being childish.
