Went down to the Leeds GAME today. They had two PS1s going for ?4.99 a pop, both packed in long white boxes, and I couldn't resist the temptation to buy one, even though I don't actually *need* one as I've owned a PS2 for eons.
When I got back home, I opened the white box to find it came with power lead, an RF lead, no memory card (boo!) but did come with both a clear Sony Dual Shock pad and a Sony digital pad (
). My PAL Um Jammer Lammy doesn't work on it, so I think it's chipped, too, though I got rid of all my copies yonks back so can't confirm this(!)
Anyway, it seems to work fine, and ?4.99 is pretty good, isn't it? I hope it's a nationwide thing.
