Nintendo Stars Catalogue - new items

Couple of GBA games just gone up for 5000 points each:

Mario Power Tennis
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror

Warning to people for the next hour and a half that look, check your expiring stars, mine has something like 16,500 stars that expire by the end of June... so TONIGHT!!

I ended up buying a Medium T-Shirt, the Brain Training Pen, Mario Power Tennis, and 2x Kirby and the Amazing Mirror to use up my points leaving me with 6,500 odd un-expired points after today.

Lucky I checked though!!

I've had these stars for years though, it's nice now they've gone I don't have to worry about Nintendo Europe at all anymore! Must say though, I did get an awesome item from the stars catalogue in the past so it's not been all bad.

I think it's a pretty **** thing of nintendo to do, putting such unreasonable expiry dates on their stars, and then only putting **** up in the catalogue.

Hopefully mine aren't expired, better convert them to Wii pts while I still can!

Have to say what the others have said about expiring stars, what rubbish! I saw this thread, go to have a look at the stuff, and see that only today Nintendo have taken 2950 stars off me, meaning I can't get anything they had on offer

So do they expire 12 or 24 months after you enter them then ? bit of a poor showing from Nintendo.

Spooky. I opened this thread, and wondered to myself how many points I had - just seconds later, in pops an e-mail: "Hello fuse-iidx, you currently have 1500 Stars"

I had 9400 points expire yesterday and I have been trying for weeks to get either some Wii points or something decent from the catalogue but never managed to get anything.
I emailed Nintendo to complain but dont hold out much hope !

I too just got an email like Fuse, except insult to injury it told me the total I had BEFORE they expired nearly 3000 of mine. Very poor show indeed Nintendo!

I'm in the same boat - those feckers just took 6000+ stars from me because they apparently "expired". Like it's hard to leave them on the system for a while longer, after all I spent yonks accumulating these points. Disgraceful.

Got a Mario Kart Wii key ring, Brain Training pen and a Pokemon bookmark yesterday after being informed that all the stars that I had would expire.
