PS2 games ?2.99 at Morrisons

Morrisons have been shifting PS2 games in bargain bins for £4.99 the past few weeks, but I popped in tonight and they've been slashed down to £2.99.

The gannets had already had their pick, because last week they had loads of Kingdom Hearts IIs and Burnout 3s and they'd gone, which is a pisser as I was too tight to buy KH2 last week. There were still quite a few copies of The Red Star knocking about, though (nice game, that) and Mercury Meltdown Remix, but also a lot of tat-type stuff, like Action Man, Crazy Chicken and that Friends quiz game.

I got Eagle Eye Golf (a 505 Gamestreet golf game which is pretty damn decent) but other branches might have more selection, so check them out quick(!)

Amazing cross between Ikaruga and Streets of Rage says the box and I pretty much agree. I think it is being released on Wii soon so expect the price to rocket after that.

I went into the Leeds Merrion Centre branch this afternoon. They had quite a few sealed Red Stars (buy!), as well as about three sealed copies of Capcom's Shadows Of Rome (buy!) and a couple of Buzz! editions of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. They also had a solitary Taito Legends 2, and I snaffled a solo copy of Free Running, cos I've been curious about it.
