    Xbox 360 Hard Drive ?12.99 or Free 512mb Memory Card

    Stolen from HUKD.

    Looks good if you managed to get one of those cheap Arcades from Sainsbury's.

    That takes me to the US site and I see no mention of this on the UK one.

      I originally bought a core (2 years ago. Since then I've obviously HDD'd it up) but when I put in my information, the site says I'm not eligible for the deal :{

        I just stuck my US arcade into that site and got a 'congratulations - you have enough memory' message.

        It was bundled with a 256mb card so I'm guessing that newer arcades don't qualify. Presumably only those that came with no memory card or a 128mb card (if MS ever did such a bundle)?

          After you click 'Go to the memory upgrade website' you can change the country in the top right of the screen.

            I think MS know if you've ever had a HDD attached. If you have, you're not eligible.

              Seriously? Surely a lot of people will have had a friend over who brought their own HDD?

                Your xbox live account is linked to your console, if youve downloaded live games or demos to your HDD then MS know about it.

                  I'm eligible on my UK Arcade system which currently has my spare HDD on it.

                    Congratulations! According to our records you have the necessary hardware and storage space to enjoy the new Xbox Experience.
                    no cheap hard disc for me then, so they must know, as i have never been on live to play a game just downloaded a demo from there.

                      i did this last night.
                      i was offered the hdd option. At the moment im running a core machine with a 256 card i brought later. i got the machine second hand i know that there was a hdd attached earier in it's life as the the pervious owner kept it.

                      so you must only get refused if ms know that you have a hdd drive, as you have downloaded something already, or your serial and id match a unit which shipped with enough memory as standard.
