edit: AT HMV. whoops, should have mentioned this in the title! not sure if its worth mentioning as i'm sure it will be this price everywhere come friday but the kindly gent behind the counter in manchester hmv last night took my pre order for sf4 for £29.99.

I asked at game and gamestation beforehand and was told on both occasions by the staff that they had no idea how much it would cost in their usual arrogant manner. so, HMV is where its at in my book!

My local HMV is saying £34.99, might depend on local competition. I think the box sets were going to be £64.99, but only three each of PS3 and 360.

This is a new incentive HMV are launching. You'll be able to pre-order certain games at a lower price from now on- usually a reduction of £5 or so.

yeah, sorry, thats what i meant - only on preorders. i preordered resi 5 for £35 too. I think its a pretty good deal really.
