Awesome stuff just ordered my PS3 copy

Wont be playing it till after my hols though but for that price deffinitley worth buying now

Picked it up from my local Tesco for £24.97 - they had very few left! They had a big stand for it and the only versions left were PS2 and PSP - all of the PS3 and 360 had gone. Fortunately I checked where the rest of the 360 games were and there were a handful of copies left. Phew! A bloke I work with had ordered online for £39.99. Gutted!

I had it pre-ordered for ?34.99 from Amazon but cancelled on Wednesday when i found out about the supermarkety deals. Went with a couple of lads from work to Asda at midnight, had to queue for about a half hour or so.

do amazon still have the price promise? usually if something dropped within 30days you could claim a refund on the difference, worth checking.

My tesco order is currently "processing" or "awaiting despatch" depending on where you look, estimated dispatch date 5/10/09.
And it just arrived in the post. Not complaining though!

They officially stopped it a while back but definitely worth getting in touch with them.

I bought a tv for £400 last year and about 3-4 weeks later it dropped to £330ish. I e-mailed customer services and although they said they'd stopped the price promise they still refunded the difference as a gesture of goodwill.

I didn't get round to contacting them yet about it but I just got an email from Amazon saying they are refunding the difference so I take back my annoyance
