Want to order to take advantage of the price but got a few questions if anyone could answer:
- I have an Asian 360 and a copy of the Asian version of the first Mass Effect. Does anyone know if it was region free and if this is likely to be too? Any other region free Bioware games on 360?
- On a related note, anyone know if my save from the Asian version of ME1 would carry over correctly to the PAL version of ME2?
Thanks

The CE version does contain extra content for the game.
Although it does annoy me somewhat that the PC download version has a bit more added to it - like the awesome soundtrack
But as a Mass Effect nut I'm going for the CE all the way. It's a keeper for me and I will never let it go. In fact I'm probably going to hug it daily and tell it that I love it.
Of course if you're not a massive fan and just intent to blast through it before selling it on, then the standard edition is probably the way to go.

That does look lovely, but it does niggle me that (as with Dragon Age) EA has agreed only to sell the special edition though Game, and so they can charge what they want. The price jump from the standard to the special edition is pretty big.
However it probably will remain pretty limited. The UK special edition of Dragon Age is pretty much impossible to get now.

The whole exclusivity thing is really starting to grate with me - ME2 seems to be particularly bad as in the US there's about three different sets of unique armour depending on who you order with
It's probably the same here but as I've just plumped for the CE I've not paid much attention.
I did find out this morning that the Cerberus Network card is in all unopened versions of the game regardless of which one you go for. Apparently it unlocks a new squad member - I think it's the Salarian scientist - so there'd be uproar if it wasn't a standard inclusion. It's just that the card in the CE is a bit more 'fancy'.
